Since 1987
La Fornara was born in Amalfi, Italy, in 1987, when Giovanni Cakiqi built his first wood-fired oven with his own hands. From that single spark, he created a pizzeria dedicated to authentic Italian pizza, patience, and passion. Each dough was kneaded before sunrise, each flame tended with care, each crust baked to perfection. Soon, the scent of fresh pizza drifted through Amalfi's streets, drawing locals and travelers alike. What began as a small family bakery quickly became a local landmark — a gathering place for people who believed that great pizza isn't made fast, it's made right.

Each pizza begins with slow-fermented, hand-kneaded dough, San Marzano tomatoes, and fior di latte mozzarella, sourced from trusted Italian farms in Campania. The result is a crust that's light yet crisp, a balance of simplicity and depth. Every pizza emerges from the oven kissed by smoke and infused with character — a taste that captures the soul of Naples.
